FAQ

What Is MACUDA?

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

MACUDA — Mankong Cultural and Development Association — is a non-profit community organisation uniting the Mankong people across Cameroon and the diaspora. It preserves cultural heritage, supports education and healthcare, and drives sustainable local development.

MACUDA's historical roots are in Bamunkumbit, Mezam Division, North West Region of Cameroon. Active branches operate across multiple countries where Mankong communities reside — including in Europe, North America and within Cameroon.

MACUDA operates across four pillars: Education (scholarships, school infrastructure, digital literacy), Healthcare (outreach, medical equipment, maternal care), Community Infrastructure (roads, water, public facilities), and Culture & Heritage (language preservation, festivals, oral tradition).

MACUDA is governed by elected branch representatives. Each branch has its own executive committee; leaders participate in national and diaspora assemblies. Major decisions reflect community consensus in line with Mankong values of collective wisdom.

Annual transparency reports are published under News & Announcements and distributed to all registered members. You can also request a copy by contacting the MACUDA secretariat via the Contact page.
